The pain

Certificates of analysis flow both ways through a distributor, and both directions hurt. Supplier CoAs arrive as PDF attachments that someone must check against spec and file where they can be found again; outbound CoAs must be assembled from lab results scattered across spreadsheets and systems, in each customer's format. Both are manual, both are error-prone, and both become urgent the day an auditor or a customer asks.

How it works

Supplier CoA management leads:

• Intake: CoAs are recognized in supplier emails and portal downloads and pulled into the Quality Center automatically.
• Validation against your spec library: extracted test results are checked against the required ranges in your specification library; certificates that pass are filed, and out-of-spec CoAs enter a complete review cycle (flagged, assigned, decided, and documented).
• Document library: every certificate is stored linked to its lot, product, supplier, and receipt, searchable in seconds.
• Expiry tracking: certificates nearing or past expiry are flagged before they turn into findings.

And when you issue CoAs of your own:

• CoA generation: delivered via an agent system, activated per deployment. It pulls lab data from your spreadsheets and databases and produces branded, signature-ready PDFs in the format each customer requires.
