SDS Intelligence
Author and manage safety data sheets for Canada (WHMIS/HPR) and the US (OSHA HazCom 2024), spanning supplier SDS intake with AI triage, bilingual EN/FR authoring backed by deterministic hazard logic and registry lookups, regulatory watch, and answers at the point of need.
For quality and regulatory teams authoring and maintaining SDS libraries in-house.
The pain
Supplier safety data sheets arrive in every layout and language, and turning them into your own house sheets is regulatory work done by hand: re-keying sixteen sections, looking up substances and transport data, translating, and re-checking it all at review. Registry data goes stale between manual updates, and when a regulation or an ingredient listing changes, every affected sheet must be found and reworked, one at a time.
How it works
Built for Canada (WHMIS under the amended HPR) and the United States (OSHA HazCom 2024):
- Intake and triage: supplier SDSs arrive by email or upload; each attachment is verified as an SDS by AI and triaged automatically: queued for re-authoring, filed as the next version, or routed to your quality team for review.
- Span-referenced extraction: the supplier sheet is extracted into structured, sixteen-section data, with every value traceable to the exact place it was read.
- Bilingual generation: delivered via an agent system, activated per deployment. English/French drafts are assembled with a deterministic hazard engine and government-registry lookups (DSL/NDSL and TSCA substance inventories, TDG and 49 CFR transport data), so regulated values come from rules and registries, and your reviewer approves a near-complete draft instead of authoring from scratch.
- Regulatory watch: registry changes are tracked and classified, affected products are identified by ingredient, and updates roll out through a propose, approve, apply bulk propagation instead of sheet-by-sheet rework.
- At the point of need: an offline-capable QR spill assistant reads out hazards, first aid, accidental-release, and handling guidance on the floor; a customer portal and API serve the current sheet to the customers and systems that request it.
What you get
- One current, versioned SDS library covering the products you handle in Canada and the US.
- Bilingual sheets whose regulated values are produced by deterministic rules and registry data: the same input yields the same output, every time.
- Regulatory change handled as one reviewed rollout across affected products, not a manual campaign.
- Hazard answers available to warehouse and shipping teams even without a connection.

FAQ
Common questions about SDS intelligence
Which jurisdictions are covered?
Canada (WHMIS under the amended HPR) and the United States (OSHA HazCom 2024), with bilingual English and French authoring. Regulated values come from deterministic hazard logic and government-registry lookups, not free-form AI text.
What happens when a regulation or ingredient listing changes?
Regulatory watch tracks and classifies registry changes, identifies affected products by ingredient, and rolls updates out through a propose, approve, apply bulk propagation, one reviewed rollout instead of sheet-by-sheet rework.
Do our reviewers still control what ships?
Yes. The system assembles near-complete drafts with every value traceable to where it was read; your reviewer approves each sheet, and bulk updates apply only after approval.
